Job Description About us Schroders is a global investment manager which provides active asset management, wealth management and investment solutions. We aim to provide excellent investment performance to clients through active management. We serve a diverse client base that includes pension schemes, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, high net worth individuals, family offices, as well as end clients through partnerships with distributors, financial advisers, and online platforms.

You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, be interested in world events and markets, and have a strong desire to solve problems, innovate, and help clients reach their financial goals. Required skills and capabilities
- Numerical ability: Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex data using critical thinking, identify errors and draw meaningful insights.
- General commercial awareness: Broad awareness of world events, enabling you to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and articulate your reasoning.
- Growth mindset & curiosity: Proactive, eager to learn and adapt, with a positive mindset and commitment to self-development and learning.
- Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to adapt your style for different audiences and comfortable speaking to clients in person or over the phone.
- Innovation & problem-solving: Analytical thinker who can understand client issues, adapt quickly, and use available tools and knowledge to develop practical and effective solutions.
- Collaboration & relationship building: Empathetic and a strong listener, able to work well within teams, build rapport easily, and foster teamwork and trust.
- A bachelor or master degree or equivalent - we're not fussed when it comes to your degree subject or predicted grade, however a STEM or finance related degree would be beneficial
- You will be in your final year of study or already graduated
- A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- The ability to understand our target audiences
- Professional qualifications:
- achieve the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) in your first few weeks-the UK's benchmark entry qualification for investment professionals
- Opportunity to complete industry led Charter Wealth Manager Qualification (CISI) - Level 7
