Manager, Medical Writing, Immunology
Johnson & Johnson
Manager-level medical writing role in Johnson & Johnson's Immunology division, based in Switzerland. Responsible for preparing clinical documents, leading writing teams, managing direct reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance across immunology programs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and finalize clinical documents for regulatory submissions
- Lead medical writing teams and manage direct reports with hiring and development responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for clinical team writing activities on assigned programs
- Coach junior staff on document planning, processes, and content quality
- Maintain regulatory knowledge and recommend departmental process improvements
Requirements
- University/college degree minimum; Master's or PhD preferred
- At least 8 years pharmaceutical or scientific experience
- At least 6 years medical writing experience required
- 2 years people management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of regulatory guidance and ICH requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Project leadership and complex problem-solving abilities
