The one thing they all have in common is that they seek to challenge the status quo, are imaginative and have the ability to offer a fresh perspective.Bank Lombard Odier & Co Ltd in Geneva is looking for a candidate to fulfil the following mission statement within the Group Tax department:Senior VAT ExpertYOUR MISSION:Supervise the Group VAT compliance obligations in Europe and Switzerland:Secure the VAT calculation, treatment, denomination and coding of VAT on recovery ratios, Group’s revenues, invoices and clients;Supervise VAT information requests and audits as well as external providers consultant services;Provide technical assistance on the VAT treatment and identify potential VAT exposures;Anticipate recent and future VAT developments at local and international levels and their consequences;Draft VAT procedures;Identify VAT burden optimisation opportunities to mitigate the final VAT cost where possible.DESIRED PROFILE:At least 10 years of experience dealing with VAT in the European banking and financial sector;Preferably, experience in one of the Big Four, plus ideally a corporate experience in the financial sector;Rigorous and organized, delivery focused and able to work with tight guidelines;Strong ethics and discretion;Team player;Fluent in English and French;Swiss Domicile or willing to relocate to Switzerland.Should you recognise yourself in this mission statement, we would be happy to receive your application via our Internet site.réf : Net / aamIf you recognise yourself in this description, then please do apply.
