Lead Mechanical Engineer - Riyadh SA

What You'll Do

You will lead the mechanical engineering team, develop and review designs for cooling, HVAC, and mechanical plant, drive multidisciplinary coordination, and ensure all mechanical works meet specification, quality, and program. You will act as the technical authority for mechanical scope from design through commissioning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead mechanical design and engineering for data center and mission-critical projects

• Develop and review cooling, HVAC, piping, and mechanical plant designs and calculations

• Set mechanical design standards, specifications, and technical basis of design

• Coordinate mechanical scope with electrical, civil, LC, and architectural teams

• Review vendor submittals, shop drawings, and equipment selections

• Support constructability, value engineering, and design optimization

• Guide and mentor mechanical engineers and designers

• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and integrated systems testing for mechanical systems

Who We're Looking For

You have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and proven experience leading mechanical design and delivery on large-scale, complex projects. You combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, and mechanical plant design

• Proficiency in mechanical design and calculation tools

• Solid understanding of codes, standards, and QA/QC processes

• Experience with data center / mission-critical cooling is a strong advantage

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Experience Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Mechanical Engineer on large-scale projects

• Background in data centers, mission-critical, or high-tech facilities

• Experience leading design teams and coordinating with multiple disciplines
