Manager, Health Economics & Market Access (HEMA), Mid-Sized Markets

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Manager for Health Economics & Market Access to lead evidence-based market access strategies for surgical technologies in Switzerland and Austria. The role involves developing health economic arguments, stakeholder engagement, and commercial tool development to support product adoption and reimbursement success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute market access strategies for new surgical technologies and existing portfolios
- Build and maintain relationships with payers, healthcare professionals, and governmental stakeholders
- Create and adapt health economic tools that translate complex evidence into clear messaging for sales teams
- Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and sales teams to align market access activities with business objectives
- Lead health economic input for value-based initiatives, including procurement strategies and reimbursement agreements
Requirements
- Advanced degree in health economics, health policy, public health, economics, or related healthcare discipline
- Solid understanding of HTA principles and health economics methodologies
- 3+ years experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare consulting, or payer organizations
- MedTech experience in Switzerland or Austria required
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in cross-functional matrix environments
- German language proficiency required
- Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize complex initiatives
