The role oversees the financial performance and controlling activities of the Zug site, with responsibility for COGS, operating expenses, facility costs, CAPEX, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Working closely with local site leadership, the Site Controller provides the financial insights needed to support operational and business decisions. /ph3Main Responsibilities /h3ulliPartner with the Head of Operations Switzerland as the trusted finance advisor, providing financial guidance and influencing business decisions to optimize profitability and cost performance. /liliDeliver financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision‑making, business planning, and ad‑hoc management requests. /liliDevelop and discuss monthly financial reporting on manufacturing performance, including COGS, operating expenses, productivity, material costs, absorption, and budget variances. /liliLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for the Swiss Operations and Facility organizations. /liliMonitor operational and financial KPIs, identify trends, analyze variances, and recommend actions to improve business performance. /liliSupport CAPEX planning, tracking, and reporting for the Operations and Facility organizations. /liliPartner with Operations to improve financial performance through cost optimization, process improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives. /liliSupport global product costing and cost simulation initiatives by providing accurate financial data and cost driver analysis. /liliCollaborate with Finance Business Partners across global manufacturing sites to standardize product costing, reporting, and financial processes. /liliBuild strong partnerships with local site leadership and promote close collaboration between Finance, Operations, and other functions at the Zug manufacturing site. /li /ulh3Minimum Requirements /h3ulliMinimum 7 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years supporting a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment. /liliBachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. /liliExperience with SAP, particularly with analyzing production order variances, is required. /liliStrong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business partnering. /liliStrong background in all areas of cost accounting (standard cost setting inventory valuation, work order variances, PPV, scrap, inventory reserves) /liliExperience influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders in a matrix organization. /liliStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with a solution‑oriented mindset. /liliExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights. /liliProficiency with SAP S/4HANA, SAP PS, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW, or comparable ERP and Business Intelligence systems. /liliExperience within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, Manufacturing, or other regulated industries. /liliFluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is required. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliDemonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and drive continuous improvement. /liliStrong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to executive audiences. /liliProven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. /liliExperience working in an international, multicultural, and matrix environment. /liliResilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities. /liliPositive, collaborative, and proactive mindset with a strong focus on business partnership. /liliFluent in Mandarin /li /ulh3We Offer /h3ulliChallenging assignments in a fast‑growing and innovative industry. /liliA multicultural team and modern working environment with state‑of‑the‑art facilities and technologies. /liliA place where we take pride in the inclusive and collaborative environment we have built - one where a true sense of belonging fosters meaningful exchange and shared growth. /liliVarious opportunities for personal and professional development within a global organization. /liliFlexible hours and hybrid working policy. /li /ulpFor more information on SHL Medical, please visit: shl‑medical.com/careers /ppbWe do not accept applications from recruitment agencies for this position. /b /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
