The role oversees the financial performance and controlling activities of the Zug site, with responsibility for COGS, operating expenses, facility costs, CAPEX, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Working closely with local site leadership, the Site Controller provides the financial insights needed to support operational and business decisions. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liPartner with the Head of Operations Switzerland as the trusted finance advisor, providing financial guidance and influencing business decisions to optimize profitability and cost performance. /li liDeliver financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, business planning, and ad-hoc management requests. /li liDevelop and discuss monthly financial reporting on manufacturing performance, including COGS, operating expenses, productivity, material costs, absorption, and budget variances. /li liLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for the Swiss Operations and Facility organizations. /li liMonitor operational and financial KPIs, identify trends, analyze variances, and recommend actions to improve business performance. /li liSupport CAPEX planning, tracking, and reporting for the Operations and Facility organizations. /li liPartner with Operations to improve financial performance through cost optimization, process improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives. /li liSupport global product costing and cost simulation initiatives by providing accurate financial data and cost driver analysis. /li liCollaborate with Finance Business Partners across global manufacturing sites to standardize product costing, reporting, and financial processes. /li liBuild strong partnerships with local site leadership and promote close collaboration between Finance, Operations, and other functions at the Zug manufacturing site. /li /ul h3Minimum Requirements /h3 ul liMinimum 7 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years supporting a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment. /li liBachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. /li liExperience with SAP, particularly with analyzing production order variances, is required. /li liStrong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business partnering. /li liStrong background in all areas of cost accounting (standard cost setting inventory valuation, work order variances, PPV, scrap, inventory reserves) /li liExperience influencing and collaborating with senior stakeholders in a matrix organization. /li liStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a solution-oriented mindset. /li liExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights. /li liProficiency with SAP S/4HANA, SAP PS, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW, or comparable ERP and Business Intelligence systems. /li liExperience within the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, Manufacturing, or other regulated industries. /li liFluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is required. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive continuous improvement. /li liStrong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to executive audiences. /li liProven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. /li liExperience working in an international, multicultural, and matrix environment. /li liResilient, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities. /li liPositive, collaborative, and proactive mindset with a strong focus on business partnership. /li liFluent in Mandarin /li /ul h3We Offer /h3 ul liChallenging assignments in a fast-growing and innovative industry. /li liA multicultural team and modern working environment with state-of-the-art facilities and technologies. /li liA place where we take pride in the inclusive and collaborative environment we have built - one where a true sense of belonging fosters meaningful exchange and shared growth. /li liVarious opportunities for personal and professional development within a global organization. /li liFlexible hours and hybrid working policy. /li /ul pFor more information on SHL Medical, please visit: shl-medical.com/careers /p pPlease note: We do not accept applications from recruitment agencies for this position. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
