Your ImpactMSC Cruises is seeking a Director of Product Innovation with expertise in hospitality, F&B and resort development. In this role, you will define the future of engaging, imaginative, and operationally feasible destinations. You will combine strategic insight, creative thinking, and operational expertise to design environments that delight our guests.

You’ll partner closely with brand, development, design, technical, and operational teams to translate complex requirements into actionable plans. Using operational insights, industry trends, and sustainable development principles, you will shape concepts that balance feasibility, innovation, and guest experience.

Your Journey so far• Lead the ideation and conceptual development of private destinations, defining objectives, master planning, operational parameters, and technical constraints.

• Collaborate with design, development, operations, F&B, logistics, and technical teams to translate vision into clear, actionable plans.

• Analyse operational insights, industry trends, guest expectations, and competitive offerings to guide concept refinement, decision-making, and KPI setting.

• Engage and align multiple stakeholders across regions, providing guidance on priorities, feasibility, and strategic objectives.

• Contribute to long-term roadmaps for private destinations and resort experiences, ensuring alignment with brand vision and guest experience goals.

• Prepare compelling presentations and documentation to communicate rationale, operational requirements, and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Ensure all proposed concepts adhere to health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Your Essentials• 10-15 years of experience in experiential design, destination/resort management with port/cruise operations management a plus.

• Strong operational knowledge of cruise industry logistics, hotel development, port operations, and technical requirements.

• Ability to translate complex operational and technical requirements into clear, actionable concepts.

• Understanding of architectural, design, or engineering principles is a plus.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate and align cross-functional and multicultural teams.

• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills; able to assess feasibility, operational impact, and guest experience implications.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex ideas to senior and executive leadership.

• Agile, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Passion for delivering operationally feasible, guest-focused innovations.

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Ability to travel 20–30% of the time.

• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.

• EU Passport or right to work in Switzerland.
