Values Value is a recruiting company with expertise in game development and is currently looking for a Publishing Director / Director of Performance Marketing / Head of UA, North America for a Chinese mobile sports game company, founded in 2013 and publicly listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 2023. With close to 700 employees it's one of the leading realistic sports game developers in China.

Its live portfolio of football, basketball and baseball titles has passed 100M+ downloads and 1M+ daily active users worldwide, and carries official licenses from major sports leagues, players' associations and top football clubs including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Juventus. One of its titles ranks among the top 2 most popular MLB-licensed games in North America, and another is one of the largest football esports brands in China. 

As the company pushes to make North America a stable, self-sustaining revenue region, they're looking for someone to own that market end-to-end: a strategic owner who sets the UA/publishing strategy, mobilizes resources, and is accountable for the outcome – across the company's full portfolio, both live titles and products still in development.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Own and drive North America user acquisition strategy across paid social, ad networks, DSPs, Apple Search Ads and emerging channels

• Define media mix, budget allocation and ROAS/CPI targets across the company's title portfolio

• Lead creative strategy in partnership with the internal creative team – briefing, testing and iterating on UA creatives

• Develop and execute go-to-market and publishing plans for new title launches, content updates, seasonal campaigns and live ops events

• Build and manage relationships with UA agencies, KOL/influencer partners and platform reps (Meta, Google, Apple)

• Collaborate with China-based marketing, product and data teams to align on global strategy

• Feed North America market intelligence into product roadmap and monetization decisions

• Set your own strategy within an agreed budget, and be accountable for turning North America into a stable revenue region

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• 5+ years in mobile game marketing, with a genuine track record in UA management and publishing strategy 

• Comfortable managing and scaling UA across multiple titles at once

• Deep familiarity with the North America mobile gaming market and player-acquisition landscape

• Hands-on experience managing significant UA budgets across multiple channels

• A Head of UA / UA Lead background is welcome 

• Either agency/publisher-side or in-house product-company background is fine

• Experience in the sports mobile game genre is preferred

• Comfortable working cross-culturally with Chinese/Asian teams

• Experience building a publishing/UA team from zero to one is a plus

• Fluent in English

What are the conditions and bonuses?

• Relocation to China (Shenzhen or Chengdu) and working in-office is the preferred setup. Remote work is possible too

• Bonus system: quarterly performance bonus plus a year-end bonus, tied to individual performance, team contribution and company profitability
