Senior Relationship Manager - International Clients

A Zurich-based, entrepreneurial External Asset Manager providing independent, tailored wealth management solutions to international HNW and UHNW clients through a flexible platform, strong banking partnerships and a client-centric approach. Job Description:

• Independently manage and develop an existing portfolio of international private clients.
• Bring and actively develop your own established client book and network.
• Act as a trusted and long-term advisor to clients and their families.
• Take full entrepreneurial responsibility for the development and profitability of your client relationships.
• Identify additional needs and opportunities within your existing client base and develop the relationships accordingly.
• Acquire new clients through your personal network, referrals, professional intermediaries and targeted business development activities.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, family offices, external asset managers, lawyers, tax advisors and other professional intermediaries.
• Coordinate individual wealth management solutions in collaboration with portfolio managers, investment specialists, banks and other external partners.
• Ensure a high level of client service and act as the central point of contact for your clients.
• Develop and implement your own business development strategy for relevant international markets.
• Represent the company at client meetings, industry events and international networking opportunities.
• Monitor regulatory, market and geopolitical developments relevant to your international client base.
The Successful Applicant:
• Several years of successful experience as a Relationship Manager, Client Advisor or similar role within private banking, wealth management or an EAM environment.
• Proven track record of managing and developing international private clients.
• Existing and transferable client book with demonstrable business potential.
• Strong network among HNW/UHNW clients and/or relevant professional intermediaries.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and commercial drive.
• Demonstrated ability to originate new business and develop existing client relationships.
• Excellent understanding of wealth management, investment solutions and financial markets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships.
• Ability to work independently while effectively leveraging internal and external specialists.
• High level of integrity, discretion and professionalism when dealing with sophisticated private clients.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to international clients.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are highly advantageous depending on the target markets.
• Swiss residency or an established professional network in Switzerland is an advantage.
