Senior Client Data Management Project Manager (Hybrid; m/f/x/d; 80-100%)

About the Role  

As Senior Client Data Management Project Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for project delivery across the global Client Data Management agenda, from strategic framing through execution, change adoption and benefits realization.  

Working closely with senior business sponsors, you will translate strategic direction and business priorities into executable plans, mobilize and engage cross-functional teams, manage dependencies and risks, and drive timely decisions. 

This is hands-on delivery role where success means creating momentum, driving accountability and turning plans into outcomes. You will be equally comfortable setting the approach and driving the detail from facilitating senior-management discussions and governance forums to working directly with regional/functional teams to resolve issues and unblock delivery.  

Current focus 

Client data is increasingly important to decision-making and value creation across Life & Health Reinsurance providing a critical foundation for data-driven and AI-enabled capabilities. With strong foundations established, the focus is now on scaling our client data capabilities to meet growing demand for timely, trusted and reusable data.  

In this role, you will be responsible for:  

• Project leadership:  Translate strategic priorities into clear project scope, milestones, delivery plans and measurable outcomes. Provide overall delivery oversight across interdependent workstreams and regions.  

• Planning and prioritisation: Establish structured approaches to prioritisation and delivery planning including resource and capacity requirements. 

• Cross-functional delivery: Mobilize and coordinate business and technology delivery across the Life & Health value chain, actively managing dependencies, risks and issues to drive agreed outcomes.  

• Stakeholder management and governance:  Partner closely with project sponsors, functional leaders and senior stakeholders to maintain alignment and enable timely decisions. Provide concise, decision-ready reporting on progress, risks, trade-offs and areas requiring management intervention. 

• Transformation and change: Drive the evolution of client data processes, governance, accountabilities and ways of working, translating future-state direction into practical change and implementation plans. 

• Resource and financial management: Work with functional and regional leaders to identify capacity and capability requirements, support resource and funding requests, and manage project financials.

The Client Data Management team within Life & Health Reinsurance is a global team responsible for ensuring client data is acquired, validated, ingested and made available across the business. Our mission is to deliver trusted and timely client data that enables confident decisions and sustainable value for Life & Health. 

About You  

You combine strategic thinking with pragmatic execution, bringing structure and clarity to ambiguity while constructively challenging assumptions and influencing stakeholders across a global organization to drive outcomes. 

You adapt your communication and leadership style across different audiences — from delivery teams to senior executives. 

Required Experience: 

• 7+ years of experience leading projects and change initiatives, preferably within (Re)insurance.  

• Strong end-to-end project management experience across business and technology, including planning, governance, risk and dependency management, resource planning and financial management.  

• Proven ability to translate strategic direction into execution, including shaping the approach where the path forward is not fully defined. 

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, working across functions, regions and seniority levels in a complex global organization. 

• Experience delivering data and business transformation, including organizational and operating model design and implementation. 

Nice to have: 

• Experience in Life & Health (Re)insurance.  

• Experience with client data or data-driven business initiatives.  

• Project and change management certifications (e.g. PMP, PROSCI, Scrum)  

For Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between CHF 126'000 and CHF 188'000 for a full-time role. The specific salary offered considers:

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,

• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
