Senior Tax Manager / Tax Expert (80-100%)

BIG Executive is supporting a leading Swiss fiduciary, tax and audit firm in Central Switzerland, with more than 130 professionals across several locations, in strengthening its Tax team.

The firm combines the expertise and quality standards of an established Swiss tax practice with a personal and family-oriented working environment, offering greater individual responsibility, direct client exposure and opportunities for career progression.

You will work with an interesting and diverse portfolio of Swiss and international clients, advising on a broad range of national and international tax matters.

Your Role

• Manage interesting Swiss and international tax advisory projects, including restructurings, succession planning and tax rulings
• Prepare complex tax returns for individuals and legal entities, including real estate capital gains tax returns
• Represent clients in negotiations and proceedings with Swiss tax authorities
• Handle Swiss VAT representation and quarterly declarations for international clients
• Support junior colleagues on technical matters and review their work
• Develop strong and long-term relationships with clients

Your Profile

• Relevant professional experience within Swiss Tax
• Dipl. Steuerexperte/in completed or currently working towards the qualification
• Strong understanding of client needs and ability to identify appropriate tax planning opportunities
• In-depth VAT knowledge would be an advantage
• Structured, independent and results-oriented approach
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Fluent German and good English
