Vice President, Commercial Strategy & Marketing

Genmab seeks a Vice President of Commercial Strategy & Marketing for Europe and Emerging Markets to shape regional strategy, drive marketing excellence, and coordinate product launches across countries. This senior role reports to the SVP of Europe & Emerging Markets and acts as a regional integrator between strategy, marketing, country leadership, and global functions to ensure long-term portfolio success in oncology.
Responsibilities
- Translate global portfolio and corporate priorities into regional strategic plans adapted for diverse European markets
- Lead regional marketing strategy for oncology portfolio with strong brand positioning and differentiated value propositions
- Coordinate regional marketing activities and provide strategic guidance and tools to country teams
- Partner with global functions to ensure regional and country needs inform global brand strategy and planning
- Synthesize market, customer, and competitor insights across Europe to inform strategy and resource allocation
Requirements
- Master's degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Business, Marketing, Strategy, or related field
- MBA, PhD, MD, or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred
- Senior commercial leadership experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Demonstrated expertise in regional strategy development and marketing execution across diverse markets
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management across global organizations
- Deep knowledge of European oncology market dynamics and healthcare systems
