Location: Verbier, Switzerland
Accommodation: Live-out. Accommodation is provided in Verbier (min. walk from home) during working weeks. Candidates must already be based in Switzerland and within an easy commuting distance of Verbier.
Schedule: 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off (Rota)
Salary: CHF 60,000 gross per annum + accommodation (Studio with double bed, kitchenette, bathroom and garden terrace)
Start: Immediate (Trial from mid-August)

The Role

A highly reliable, professional and flexible  Rota Housekeeper / Nanny is required to support a discreet HNW Swedish family based in Verbier, Switzerland. The family has four children aged 4, 6, 8 and 14, who attend an international school following the IB curriculum.

This is a live-out role with lovely live-out accommodation provided in Verbier during working weeks.  Candidates must already be based in Switzerland and within an easy commuting distance of Verbier.

This is not a fully staffed household and is therefore a demanding, hands-on role. The family are seeking someone who is genuinely happy to support the smooth running of the household whilst ensuring the children thrive. They are looking for an individual who can successfully combine exceptional household management with warm, nurturing childcare.

The family are warm, respectful and private, and are looking for someone who is extremely dependable, emotionally intelligent and highly professional at all times. This role requires a candidate who can be fully relied upon, who understands the importance of consistency, and who is comfortable supporting a busy household with multiple children of different ages.

A high degree of flexibility is essential, and the family are looking for someone who is comfortable adapting to the needs of both the household and the children as they arise.

This is not a role for someone with rigid boundaries around tasks. The family are seeking a true team player with no ego, who is happy to help wherever needed, whether that is cooking dinner, setting the table, supporting children's routines, assisting with housekeeping, or helping with the general organisation of the home.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supporting four children aged 4, 6, 8 and 14.
• Providing structure, consistency and emotional support.
• Supporting homework and school routines where required.
• Managing the children's schedules, activities and logistics.
• Preparing healthy, nutritious meals for the family.
• Supporting the household with housekeeping duties as part of a collaborative approach.
• Wardrobe management and preparation for school and activities.
• Driving the children when required, including mountain driving.
• Supporting one another during handovers to ensure consistency between rotations.
• Upholding the family's privacy and discretion at all times.
• Working closely and collaboratively with the family.

Candidate Requirements

• Must already be based in Switzerland and within an easy commuting distance of Verbier.
• EU passport or legal right to work in Switzerland.
• Highly reliable, punctual and professional.
• Intelligent, switched on and emotionally intelligent.
• Flexible, adaptable and calm under pressure.
• Confident supporting multiple children of different ages.
• Happy to assist with cooking and the smooth running of the household.
• Confident driver with a full driving licence (essential).
• A genuine love of the outdoors and an active lifestyle.
• Down-to-earth, collaborative and helpful in nature.
• Discreet, respectful and professional at all times.
• Able to commit to a long-term position.
• Excellent, checkable references.
