Das Department für Fundamentale Neurowissenschaften der Universität Lausanne lädt Bewerbungen für eine Doktorandenstelle in der Forschungsgruppe von Prof. Sophie Croizier ein. Ihre Aufgaben
Die erfolgreiche Kandidatin/der erfolgreiche Kandidat wird dazu beitragen, die Mechanismen zu bestimmen, die der Verschaltung hypothalamischer POMC-Neuronen zugrunde liegen. Diese Arbeit basiert auf multidisziplinären Ansätzen, darunter histologische Techniken (Immunhistochemie, Hirnaufhellung, RNAscope In-situ-Hybridisierung), Molekularbiologie (RT-qPCR, Western Blot), Bioinformatik (mit Unterstützung der Einrichtung), ex vivo Ansätze zur Visualisierung des Axonwachstums, Mikroskopie/Bildanalyse und in utero Manipulation.
Ihre Qualifikationen
Um unser Team zu ergänzen, suchen wir jemanden mit folgenden Fähigkeiten:
- Erfahrung in histologischen Methoden
- Erfahrung im Umgang mit Mäusen
- Erlaubnis für Tierversuche ist von Vorteil
- Motivierte, dynamische und begeisterte/r Studierende/r mit einer Masterarbeit im Bereich der Lebenswissenschaften, interessiert an der Arbeit in einem hochinteraktiven Umfeld
- Ausgezeichnete mündliche und schriftliche Englischkenntnisse
