Das Department für Fundamentale Neurowissenschaften der Universität Lausanne lädt Bewerbungen für eine Postdoktorandenstelle in der Forschungsgruppe von Prof. Hiroshi Ito ein. Ihre Aufgaben
Die erfolgreiche Kandidatin/der erfolgreiche Kandidat wird die neuronalen Schaltkreis-Mechanismen untersuchen, die der zielgerichteten räumlichen Navigation bei Ratten zugrunde liegen. Das Projekt verwendet multidisziplinäre Ansätze, darunter hochdichte Mehrkanalaufnahmen, pharmakogenetische und optogenetische Manipulationen, Verhaltensanalysen, maschinelles Lernen und computergestützte Modellierung.
Ihre Qualifikationen
Wir suchen eine hochmotivierte und dynamische Person mit folgenden Qualifikationen:
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Systemneurowissenschaft
- Erfahrung in elektrophysiologischen Aufnahmen oder Bildgebung neuronaler Aktivität
- Erfahrung in verhaltensneurowissenschaftlichen Experimenten
- Genehmigung für Tierversuche ist sehr wünschenswert
- Enthusiastische und kooperative Einstellung mit Interesse an der Arbeit in einem hochinteraktiven Forschungsumfeld
- Ausgezeichnete Beherrschung der englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift
