Job Description

THE MISSION?

Like Granny's dishes from our childhood, our cuisine is generous & of the best quality. In this way, you are responsible for setting up the dishes and respecting the values of Mama. 

You are responsible for the quality of service, storage and cleaning in the kitchen, as well as food storage.

You control and ensure the proper storage of supplies.

You participate in the creation of the menu in collaboration with the management ‍‍

You recruit, lead and develop a kitchen team

• Passionate & creative- you have an opinion on what is crunchy and what is delicious. 
• You are organized and never let yourself be overwhelmed!
• You always follow Mama’s delicious recipes to the letter: quantity, presentation and appreciation, everything is there! 
• You know how to translate recipes perfectly into technical sheets; Mama lets the pros take over!
• You’re an excellent manager, you master cost control, analysis of figures & optimization of productivity.
• You are an educator and love to pass on your knowledge.
• You recruit and develop talents in order to support the growth of the Mama Shelter group.
• A real driving force, you know how to motivate and unite the troop.
• You have a good level of English and German, so when you’re asked, "How do you feel about the trams in Zurich?” you’ll know how to reassure the guest.
• You know how to mobilize the necessary resources at the right time (Human, Financial & Administrative) to carry out your mission.
