Senior Brand Manager

THE POSITION

The Senior Brand Manager contributes to shaping and executing a sustainable and profitable plan for FIFA’s tournament brands, aligned with the overarching FIFA Brand Strategy and designed to support the organisation’s global vision and strategic objectives, under the leadership of the Head of Brand & Creative Services.
The candidate is the brand project lead of Tier 1 Men tournaments, responsible for developing and delivering the tournament brand platform and full suite of assets as well as supports on the comprehensive integration of the brand partners across the 360-activation plan. Notably, the candidate will be responsible of leading the brand development and deployment for the FIFA World Cup 2030.

These are your key tasks:

• Champions the strategic development of integrated brand positioning and tournament narratives, ensuring each major competition reflects FIFA’s global vision while resonating with diverse audiences and markets.
• Partners closely with internal stakeholders, and local organising partners to create distinctive brand platforms that are insight-driven, future-focused, and aligned with FIFA’s overarching identity system.
• Integrates brand strategy with audience intelligence and market data, leveraging research, fan insights, and performance metrics to shape brand narratives, guide creative direction, and optimize campaign effectiveness across global markets.
• Develop the tournament brand assets full suite in close collaboration with tournament project teams, commercial and media partnerships, various stakeholders across the organisation and local organizing/hosting stakeholders. Ownership over process and timelines, from brief to execution.
• Manages the delivery of brand tournament related assets (including official marks, official event look of the games, official mascots, official trophies …), printed/digital materials, and brand manuals to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
• Ensures adequacy and brand consistency of any brand development across touchpoints. Expertise in Brand Events dressing (event look management) is mandatory.
• Anticipates and proposes commercially relevant branded propositions to enhance commercial offering to partners. Anticipates partners delivery timelines and supports partners rights delivery needs.
• Translates brand strategy into compelling creative direction hand in hand with senior creative partners both in house and in agency, overseeing the articulation of core themes and storytelling frameworks that drive consistency and emotional impact across all activation channels.
• Safeguards and evolves FIFA’s brand equity across internal and external partners, ensuring strategic alignment, creative integrity, and cross-functional execution excellence throughout the brand lifecycle.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

• Experience in a global brand management & brand delivery function, preferably in large sports organisations
• Proven experience leading brand development and strategic planning process
• Adjacent experience in partner rights delivery, event dressing operations preferred
• Experience in leading go-to-market, 360 brand launch plans
• International experience in global sports events delivery is a strong plus
• Note: This is not a creative role – this is a brand management role
• University degree or equivalent in business, sports or events management
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in Word / PowerPoint / Excel
