Sales / Business Development Manager (B2B Digital Marketing)

Our client is a growing Swiss digital agency helping small and medium-sized businesses accelerate their growth through digital strategy, AI-driven solutions, SEO, performance marketing, web development and other innovative digital services.

To support their continued expansion, we are looking for a commercially driven Sales & Business Development Manager who can generate new business, develop long-term client relationships and help bring innovative digital growth solutions to the Swiss market.

Your Role

As Sales & Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of the full sales cycle, from identifying and approaching prospective clients through to discovery meetings, proposals, negotiations and closing.

Your primary focus will be generating new business among SMEs across Switzerland, understanding their commercial challenges and positioning relevant digital solutions that create measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking and relationship building
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of SME clients across Switzerland
• Manage the complete sales cycle from first contact through to signed agreement
• Understand clients' business objectives, challenges and digital needs
• Present and sell digital growth solutions, including AI-driven services, SEO, performance marketing and web solutions
• Identify opportunities to develop existing client relationships and cross-sell additional services
• Build strong, long-term relationships and act as a trusted commercial partner to clients
• Collaborate closely with internal digital, creative and technical specialists to develop tailored solutions
• Maintain a structured approach to pipeline management, forecasting and commercial follow-up
• Contribute to the company's overall commercial strategy and continued growth

Your Profile

• 2–4+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally within digital marketing, SaaS, technology, consulting, media or web solutions
• Strong new-business and hunter mentality , with experience generating opportunities through proactive prospecting
• Experience managing the full B2B sales cycle
• Good understanding of digital services such as SEO, digital marketing, websites, paid advertising or AI-driven solutions
• Consultative sales approach with the ability to understand business challenges and translate them into relevant solutions
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and results-oriented mindset
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working autonomously within a small and entrepreneurial environment
• Fluent German and English are required; French or another European language would be a strong advantage
