Financial leadership and governanceLead and implement the financial strategy of the company in line with the board-approved investment framework. The scope covers the full financial function, from day-to-day management to board-level reporting:Financial strategy and planningLead the annual budget process and mid-term financial planning in coordination with the MD and management teamConduct financial modelling, variance analysis, and scenario planning to support strategic decisionsContribute actively to management team discussions — finance as a strategic input, not a back-office functionManage banking relationships and financingReporting and controlsProduce monthly and quarterly financial reviews for board meetings, including forward projectionsMaintain real-time visibility on cash deployment and investmentStrengthen internal controls and ensure organisational accountability across both legal entitiesEnsure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and fit for a multi-entity Swiss/Dutch structureAccounting, audit, tax and payrollOversee accounting operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards (Swiss GAAP, EU IFRS, etc)Lead the annual audit process; primary point of contact for external auditorsManage tax compliance across Viaservice SA and Viaservice BV, including transfer pricing where applicableOversee payroll across all entities and geographies, coordinating with HR where neededManage cash flow planning and treasury operationsTeam and organisational developmentDirectly manage the Accountant as first direct reportAssess and build out the finance and legal support team as the company scalesDefine and implement finance processes, tools, and systems appropriate to the company's growth stage2. Legal and contract managementManage the external legal counsel relationship for both Viaservice SA and Viaservice BVReview all enterprise customer contracts before signatureOwn the signing authority and payment authorisation framework for both legal entitiesLead the Directors Officers insurance review and ensure adequate coverageMaintain legal compliance with GDPR obligations and applicable Swiss/Dutch corporate law3. Corporate structureLead the feasibility assessment for establishing legal entities wherever needed, covering employment law, tax, administrative implications, and cost-benefitThe Profile We Are Looking ForAcademic backgroundMaster's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or equivalentProfessional qualification (CPA, CFA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred — not mandatory if compensated by strong hands-on experienceProfessional experienceA minimum of 10 to 15 years of professional experience overall, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role. The following experience is essential:Proven track record in a B2B SaaS, technology, or logistics technology environment — preferably at a growth-stage companyDemonstrable experience operating as a standalone or near-standalone finance functionHands-on experience combining financial management and legal/contract oversight simultaneouslyTrack record of installing financial governance in a growing company, reporting frameworks, board packs, audit readiness, budget processesExperience managing multi-entity corporate structures; familiarity with Swiss and/or Dutch entities is a strong advantageExperience with shareholder or investor reporting in a growth-stage or venture-backed contextExposure to legal entity creation and employment structuring across multiple jurisdictionsSkills and competenciesBeyond technical qualifications, the following characteristics define the right candidate:Legal instinct — not a qualified lawyer, but someone who reads contracts critically, identifies risk, and knows when to escalationBoard presence — able to present financial information clearly, answer challenge from experienced directors, and command credibility at senior levelSpeed of installation — able to produce a board-quality financial report within the first 30 daysCommercial awareness — understanding that finance exists to enable growth, not constrain it; a genuine contributor to strategic conversationsComfort with ambiguity — many processes do not yet exist; this person designs and implements themRigour and reliability — zero tolerance for approximation in reporting; the board must be able to trust the numbersInterpersonal effectiveness — able to work across Geneva, Amsterdam, and distributed sales teams with different cultural and operational contextsLanguagesEnglish — fluent, working language of the board and management teamFrench — fluent, working language of the Geneva headquartersAnother European language — an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
