The role We are looking for a commercially minded and relationship-driven leader to help lead the next phase of growth of our corporate client business. This is an opportunity to take on an important leadership role with meaningful impact, combining business development, client leadership and the opportunity to shape how a regulated digital asset banking platform serves a fast-evolving market. As Head of Corporate Clients, you will work with leading digital asset companies and help deepen Sygnum’s position as a trusted partner for corporate clients. You will lead a high-performing team, build trusted client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of a business at the intersection of banking and digital assets. Your main responsibilities Own and grow Sygnum’s corporate client business across key client segments, and help shape our market positioning across the digital asset ecosystem, including crypto foundations, DLT projects and other crypto-native institutionsLead, mentor and scale a high-performing corporate client team across sales, client coverage and solutionsDevelop and execute the corporate client strategy in close partnership with the Chief Clients OfficerBuild trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across key clients and prospects in Switzerland and across Sygnum’s international footprintWork closely with Asset Management, custody, lending and trading teams to deliver the best possible solutions for corporate clientsEnsure alignment with FINMA requirements and Sygnum’s risk and compliance framework, while championing a trusted and well-governed approach to digital asset bankingRepresent Sygnum at relevant industry forums, conferences and regulatory engagements in the digital asset spaceLead and further strengthen the client onboarding process in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including Compliance and OperationsUse AI-enabled insights, such as client intelligence and pipeline analytics, to prioritise outreach, improve coverage quality and scale personalised client engagementStay close to market, product and regulatory developments, and build a strong network across the digital asset ecosystem Our Ideal Candidate: 10+ years of experience in corporate banking, ideally gained within a Swiss-regulated bank or a major international financial institutionA strong track record of building and managing corporate client relationships with measurable commercial impact. Previous people leadership experience with Relationship Managers and Assistant Relationship Managers would be an advantageStrong understanding of digital assets and blockchain, or the curiosity and drive to build this expertise quicklyAn established network and strong relationships across the digital assets ecosystem would be a strong advantageSolid familiarity with Swiss banking regulation, including FINMA requirements and AML/KYC standards relevant to corporate client relationshipsStrong interpersonal credibility and the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across crypto-native organisationsComfortable using AI and data-driven insights to support client development, research and decision-makingAn entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing, innovation-led environmentFluency in English is essential; German and/or French would be an advantage.
