for a fixed-term contract from February to December 2027

Reference: CLS/RH/2026.781 / Contract type: Fixed-term contract from February to December 2027 at 100% / Hours: according to schedule from Monday to Sunday mainly from 9:00 to 18:00 (flexibility required for continuous hours as early as 6:00 and as late as 21:00) / Start date: as soon as we find the right person, ideally 1st February 2027 / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

Why do we need you?

For a replacement of a few months, we are looking for a Dietetic Cook ready to join our team. On a daily basis, you will prepare dishes adapted to the different diets of our patients while participating in production at various kitchen stations.

What will you be expected to do?

• Develop dishes and menus adapted to different diets, in collaboration with dietitians
• Prepare "à la carte" orders for patients and dishes for various events organised at the Clinic as well as for the staff restaurant
• Plate patients’ meals on the meal tray line, ensuring quality and presentation
• Control and update diet menus in the meal ordering system
• Contribute to the training of apprentices
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and quality standards, notably HACCP, as well as the cold and hot chain

• In this position, you will join the team of Chef Thomas Neeser. Driven by his passion for gastronomy, he has extensive experience gained in various starred gourmet restaurants and demonstrates proven professional and interpersonal skills. Involved in the brigade, he brings his expertise to everyone in a calm atmosphere.

What do we expect from you?

Essentials:

• Completed cook CFC with a CFC or Federal Diploma in dietetic cooking or equivalent training
• Good knowledge of different dietary regimes and ability to meet their specific requirements
• Mastery of culinary techniques and ability to produce quality dishes in quantity
• Mastery of food hygiene standards, notably HACCP, and strict respect of the cold and hot chain
• Autonomous, organised, precise and able to manage stress
• Team spirit and ease in collaborating with dietitians and the entire brigade
• Flexibility and availability to work weekends and public holidays

Your assets:

• Knowledge of LogiMen software
• Experience in creating and developing diet menus
• Creativity and sense of presentation
• Interest in knowledge transfer, especially with apprentices and colleagues
