Team Leader - In-Process Inspection (Operations/Production Quality)

Team Leader position overseeing in-process inspection operations within a press manufacturing environment at a life-science company. Responsibilities include leading inspection teams, ensuring GMP compliance, coordinating cross-functional activities, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining quality standards and employee development.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily in-process inspection activities across flexographic, digital press, and folding machine operations
- Supervise inspection staff, provide performance feedback, and support employee development and training
- Ensure compliance with GMP standards, customer specifications, and internal procedures across all operations
- Coordinate with production, quality, engineering, and management to address operational constraints and maintain schedule alignment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support internal/external audits and quality investigations
Requirements
- Leadership experience supervising inspection or quality assurance teams
- Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and quality standards compliance
- Experience in manufacturing or press production environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple operational priorities and shift schedules
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Proficiency with inspection procedures, SOPs, and technical documentation
