Head of Finance 6 Months Neuchâtel

Our client is a medium-sized organization operating within the ENERGY manufacturing sector. Senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the financial strategy to support performance, growth, and compliance. Oversee all finance activities including controlling, accounting, budgeting (OPEX/CAPEX), reporting, internal controls, and compliance with Swiss and international standards (IFRS/GAAP). Act as a key business partner: monitor performance, drive cost optimisation, present results, manage stakeholders, and support strategic decision-making. Manage and develop the finance team, ensure efficient processes, and represent the organisation externally. Swiss company with international scope (6 months mission) Industry in Canton of Neuchatel. A successful HEAD OF FINANCE should have: Degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent (or Swiss Federal diploma in Finance & Controlling). Around 10 years of experience in a similar senior finance role, ideally within a corporate or international environment. Strong knowledge of Swiss and international accounting standards (IFRS). Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with attention to detail. Proven leadership and stakeholder management abilities, with excellent communication skills. Fluent in French and English (German is a plus). Adaptable, proactive, and able to perform in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a strong sense of accountability and teamwork.
