Institutional Credit Sales (USD Corporate Credit)

BGC Aurel is looking to hire an ambitious and entrepreneurial Institutional Fixed Income Sales professional to support the continued expansion of our Swiss credit franchise. This is an opportunity to join a growing business at an early stage of its development in Switzerland and play a meaningful role in building our institutional client coverage. The successful candidate will combine strong local relationships with a commercial mindset and work closely with our global sales and trading teams to connect Swiss investors with differentiated liquidity and execution opportunities. The role will focus on institutional clients across Switzerland, with particular emphasis on pension funds, asset managers, and private banks. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage relationships with institutional fixed income investors across Switzerland. Expand the firm’s coverage of Swiss pension funds, asset managers, private banks, and other professional investors. Originate and execute trading opportunities in USD-denominated corporate and financial credit. Provide clients with relevant market colour, trade ideas, relative-value opportunities, and execution solutions. Leverage Aurel’s electronic credit trading capabilities and BGC Group’s global network to provide clients with access to differentiated liquidity. Work closely with electronic and voice trading teams across Europe, Asia, and the United States to identify and deliver cross-regional opportunities. Identify new business opportunities and contribute directly to the development of the firm’s Swiss institutional franchise. Support the onboarding and activation of new clients, working collaboratively with internal trading, credit, legal, compliance, and operations teams. Represent the firm professionally and build long-term, trusted relationships with clients. Candidate Profile 3-5 years of experience in institutional fixed income sales. Strong existing relationships with Swiss institutional investors, particularly pension funds, asset managers, and private banks. Good understanding of corporate and financial credit markets, with particular experience in USD-denominated debt. Demonstrated ability to generate commercial opportunities and develop long term client relationships. Commercially minded, entrepreneurial, and motivated to help build a growing business. Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where initiative, ownership, and collaboration are highly valued. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A collaborative team player who works effectively across sales, trading, technology, and support functions. Fluency in English is required. German is highly desirable, while French or Italian would be an advantage.
