Role Summary
The Digital Marketing Lead is responsible for defining and executing Salesforce Switzerland's digital marketing strategy to accelerate pipeline generation, increase customer engagement, and drive measurable business growth across all cloud businesses. The role leads the planning and execution of integrated digital marketing programs, ensuring alignment with Switzerland's business priorities and EMEA objectives.
Working in close partnership with Sales, BDRs, Industry Marketing, Strategic Events, MediaLab, and global marketing teams, the Digital Marketing Lead delivers data-driven campaigns, optimizes digital performance, and ensures the Swiss market fully leverages Salesforce's AI-first marketing strategy.
As Digital Marketing represents one of the largest Marketing Delivered Pipeline (MDP) contributors in Switzerland, this role is critical to sustaining growth, improving marketing efficiency, and supporting one of Salesforce's highest-performing markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the digital marketing strategy aligned with Switzerland's business priorities and EMEA objectives.
• Own end-to-end paid media investment (of around $1M) for Salesforce Switzerland across Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Data & AI, Commerce) and priority industries (FINS, HLS, RCG, MFG) deciding channel, targeting and offer selection to ensure budget is deployed against the highest-return segments.
• Act as primary liaison with global/EMEA teams across Paid Media, SEO, Lead Operations, Global Campaigns and Offer Localization to align on strategy and surface Switzerland-specific issues, needs and highlights.
• Serve as the digital intelligence hub for Switzerland, translating complex, multi-source performance data into actionable insights for the local marketing team, BDRs, and OU leadership.
• Lead the CH Marketing-BDR alignment cadence, ensuring BDRs are briefed on active campaigns, incoming lead volume and quality, and optimal follow-up messaging.
• Monitor and influence lead routing and MQL to Stage 2 conversion rates using Tableau and Org62 dashboards; coordinate remediation of funnel bottlenecks with Sales and Marketing Operations
• Own Switzerland's always-on email marketing, ensuring audience coverage and building integrated nurture sequences to drive interest and pipe from prospects and customers.
• Own the Swiss digital presences from the homepage and local landing pages to social media profiles ensuring they are optimized for conversion, locally compliant, and aligned with the latest GTM messaging and promotional priorities.
• Drive Salesforce Switzerland's organic content creation, turning strategic events, customer stories, and product moments into high-impact content that builds brand relevance and supports pipeline generation.
• Support the digital infrastructure of Switzerland's flagship events, ensuring smooth customer experiences and maximum pre-event reach.
• Ensure alignment with Salesforce's AI-first marketing strategy, building and leveraging AI-tools, agents and automations to improve effectiveness.

Business Impact
Digital Marketing is the second-largest Marketing Delivered Pipeline (MDP) contributor in Switzerland. This role is business-critical to sustaining pipeline growth, supporting strategic accounts, and enabling the local go-to-market strategy. Converting this contractor role into a permanent FTE ensures business continuity, retains critical market expertise, and mitigates the operational risk associated with losing a key resource whose contractor engagement has reached the maximum allowable duration.
