Your PurposeThe Purchasing Agent Explora Journeys manages the ordering process, providing business support to the Explora Journeys ship operations in terms of Supply Chain for F&B and Hotel materials.

Your ImpactEnsure the creation of Purchase Order respecting deadline; Relation with suppliers and web ordering management and Perform expediting activities; Search goods from secondary suppliers or port in collaboration with the category buyer and operations in case of exceptional needs; Grant full visibility on order status and Highlight potential disruption on supply chain; Leveraging excel tools, ensure correct warehouse inventory level preventing dead stock or perishability and optimizing storage & reducing spending ; Manage and close discrepancy and grant all invoices ready to be paid; Support the fleet for loading operation issues with products delivery; Continuous interaction with the different stakeholders to monitor and increase the supply chain activities and efficiency: products availability, suppliers and goods issues.;

Your Journey so farPrevious working experience in the role; University Degree level or equivalent qualification/work experience. ;

Your EssentialsGood understanding of supply chain activities and best practices; Fluent English and Italian, any additional language is an advantage; MS Office with special focus on excel and Power BI is highly requested; Good organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize and follow-up; Legal right to work in Italy;
