As a 1st Engineer Officer, you will be a cornerstone in ensuring our vessel operates seamlessly and safely. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer and Staff Engineer, you will lead the engine watch-keeping team, ensuring daily maintenance and operational excellence across all engineering and technical systems onboard. As a 1st Engineer Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the ship’s engineering and technical systems. Beyond the technical aspects, your leadership will foster a professional and collaborative environment within the engineering team, empowering them to excel and adapt to challenges with confidence. To join our team as an 1st Engineer you need to have:
Experience: Proven experience aboard passenger vessels, demonstrating advanced knowledge of engineering systems specific to modern cruise ships.
Technical Expertise: Familiarity with Wartsila propulsion systems, Azipod propulsion, and state-of-the-art engineering apparatus.
Intermediate proficiency in both written and spoken English to ensure seamless collaboration with the team and stakeholders.
