Java DevOps Engineer

Our client, a leading global multinational information technology services and consulting company,is recruiting for a DevOps Engineer in Java Development to join their business in Switzerland. Position Title: DevOps Engineer in Java Development Position Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP Location: Geneva Switzerland Contact: As part of the Workflows' SCRUM team, your role is to contribute to Kubernetes topics (RUN and BUILD of the platform): Analyze, Design, Implement and document appropriate architecture target, in line with the Sprint Backlog Best practices and guidelines Actively participate in the technical community to ensure knowledge sharing across the IT teams Environment As part of the DevOps chapter, you will share knowledge and best practices and stay in touch with other DevOps products to benefit from knowledge sharing and advice. The product team is composed mostly of Software Engineers, Business Analysts, a Scrum Master and DevOps. We deliver a very interesting and stimulating environment based on DevOps practices such as "Infrastructure as code." Continuous integration and delivery platform setup (Gitlab) Alerting and monitoring - Dev process support Source control management Deployment process (code review, weekly touch points) Tech & dev stack improvements Chapter Guides Required Experience: Who you are: You are a DevOps developer with a strong background in JAVA development. You embrace the “You build it, you run it” mindset. DevOps: You have knowledge in a CI/CD solution such as Bamboo, Gitlab or others... You love to automate everything, and you will be focused to ensure quality integration.
