Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax reporting.
Continuously improve processes and systems within the accounting function.
A successful GL Accountant should have:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
Knowledge of local and international accounting standards.
Good knowledges in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
