Key Account Manager - Foodservice

Our client is a leading European B2B distributor operating in the technical equipment and spare parts sector. The company serves professional customers across foodservice, commercial kitchens, vending and coffee systems, refrigeration, and household appliances.
With a very large multi-brand product portfolio, a strong logistics infrastructure across Europe, and several hundred employees internationally, the group is part of a well-established global organisation and benefits from long-term financial stability.

We are supporting a client in the search for a Key Account Manager Switzerland to manage and develop strategic customer relationships nationwide.
The role focuses on long-term account development rather than transactional sales and requires a strong understanding of technical products, service-driven environments, and complex B2B customer structures.
This is a senior, autonomous role with significant ownership of the Swiss market.

Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic key accounts across Switzerland
Build long-term partnerships with professional customers in technical B2B environments
Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts, upselling and cross-selling a broad product range
Proven experience in a Key Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, or Business Development role
Background in technical distribution, spare parts, equipment, foodservice technology, vending, coffee machines, refrigeration, or similar B2B sectors
Experience managing complex customer portfolios and long sales cycles
Fluent German, French, and Italian is mandatory
English is a strong advantage
Comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
