Translational Data Scientist (m/f/d)
As Translational Data Scientist (m/f/d) , you'll bridge computational methods and translational research working at the intersection of multi-omics data and AI.
Temporary placement
For our client, an internationally active company in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector based in Basel, we are looking for a Translational Data Scientist (m/f/d) . Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to translate biological insights into decisions across drug discovery and early-stage development
Build and apply pre-clinical models derived from internal and public data for departmental research projects
Partner with a core team of translational research and data science experts across wet-lab and dry-lab practices
Contribute to projects with external partners at renowned healthcare institutions, including opportunities to publish
Applied experience with AI, machine learning, large language models and agentic workflows for analysis and decision-making
Proficiency in R/Python and confidence in a Linux environment
