Bar Service / Bar Keeper

As a Bartender, your primary purpose is to create memorable, high-quality beverage experiences for guests while maintaining the highest levels of service. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and profitability of the assigned bar area, contributing to overall guest satisfaction and the cruise’s success. By crafting exceptional drinks and providing friendly, attentive service, you will help elevate the onboard experience. Beyond that, you will also play a crucial role in maintaining the profitability of your bar by ensuring efficient stock control, managing costs, and adhering to company guidelines and procedures. Your success will contribute significantly to both guest satisfaction and the overall financial success of the bar.

Relevant Qualifications and Experience: Proven practical experience as a Bartender, ideally within an international cruise line environment or a busy 5-star hotel/resort.

International Bar List: Experience working with an international bar list, showcasing your ability to craft diverse cocktails and drinks that appeal to a wide range of guests.

High-Volume Guest Service: Experience in catering to a diverse and high-volume guest base, demonstrating your ability to handle busy shifts while maintaining exceptional service standards.

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral, enabling you to engage effortlessly with guests and colleagues from all over the world.

A genuine passion for mixology and hospitality, paired with creativity and a strong attention to detail in delivering excellent beverages and guest service.

Qualifications: Relevant certifications in Bartending, Health & Safety, and Food Handling

Experience: Proven experience in the same or similar position with an International Cruise Company or in a busy 5-star hotel/resort with an international bar list

Language Skills: Fluency in English (oral and written). Key Skills: Strong knowledge of cocktails, drink preparation, and bar techniques; excellent guest service skills;
