The one thing they all have in common is that they seek to challenge the status quo, are imaginative and have the ability to offer a fresh perspective.Bank Lombard Odier & Co Ltd in Geneva is looking for a candidate to fulfil the following mission statement:Buyer The Strategic Buyer will be responsible for defining and implementing the Category strategy for Indirect spend categories related to General Expenses (i.e. IT & Facilities required - Consulting, Marketing & Communication, Human resources desired).VOTRE MISSION :Foster strong relationships and drive engagement of Procurement with the business teams to optimize value creation and delivery;Lead Procurement and Sourcing activities including spend analytics, supplier and contract management;Manage and lead the preparation and evaluation of RFIs/RFPs, analysis, negotiation and roll-out of new vendors contracts that bring savings/cost avoidance;Perform vendor analysis, financial and risk assessment, to recommend sustainable solutions to the businesses;Engage in and drive mutually beneficial relationships with key suppliers;Provide thought leadership, innovative ideas and support for the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities;DESIRED PROFILE :Masters preferred or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and Professional certifications in Procurement required;7-10 years of broad GenEx Procurement experience (across various industries preferred);Strong communicator and influencer; Good interpersonal and teamwork skills;Good negotiation and analytical skills ; Critical thinker;Meticulous, proactive and able to multi-task;Experience with modern procurement processes and systems (ideally Coupa); Purchase-to-Pay implementation experience a plus;Excellent knowledge of MS Office;Fluent in English and French;Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Switzerland.Ref : ghm/zctoIf you recognise yourself in this description, then please do apply.
