Senior Credit Officer - Private Banking | Geneva (Temporary Mission)

ppWe are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established private bank in Geneva, for a Senior Credit Officer to join its Credit Department on a full-time temporary assignment, starting December 1, 2026. /p pIn this role, you will take ownership of complex, tailor-made credit transactions from origination through to closure, working hand in hand with Front Office teams. The mandate is centred on highly leveraged Lombard lending alongside derivative-related exposures, so genuine command of these areas is essential — you'll be called on to analyse, monitor and sign off on individual transactions, acting as part of the credit approval chain. /p h3What you'll be doing: /h3 ul liDriving the credit underwriting process in close partnership with Front Office /li liBuilding and presenting credit limit proposals for sign-off by the relevant committees /li liTracking Loan-to-Value ratios and margin coverage on derivative positions on an ongoing basis /li liHandling elevated-risk exposures and assessing pledged collateral /li liOwning day-to-day credit operations: data upkeep, reconciliations, documentation follow-up, and processing of guarantees and credit card requests /li liActing as a go-to credit expert for the Front Office, covering structuring, exception handling, margin calls and knowledge sharing /li liWorking closely with the Credit Committee, trading desks and Asset Management /li liSigning off on drawdowns and cash/securities transfers /li liHelping to foster a collaborative, risk-aware team culture and streamline processes /li liFeeding into internal reporting through KPIs, statistics and dashboards /li /ul h3What we're looking for: /h3 ul liAt least 5 years' hands-on experience with complex Lombard lending transactions /li liFluency in French and English, spoken and written /li liStrong background in derivatives and structured OTC transactions /li liSolid grasp of financial markets, investment products, credit risk and banking operations /li liStrong communication and presentation skills /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
