IFS Manufacturing Consultant

What you can expect from the role: 

• Lead and support the implementation of IFS Cloud Manufacturing solutions for customers across a variety of industries.

• Work closely with clients to understand their manufacturing processes, business challenges, and transformation objectives.

• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, design future-state processes, and configure IFS Manufacturing modules to meet customer needs.

• Provide expert guidance on manufacturing best practices and how these can be enabled through IFS Cloud.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Solution Architects, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and other functional specialists.

• Support customers through all phases of the project lifecycle, including design, testing, training, go-live, and hypercare.

• Build trusted client relationships and act as a subject matter expert throughout project delivery.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, internal knowledge sharing, and the development of Arcwide's manufacturing capabilities.

• Stay up to date with new IFS functionality and industry trends to ensure customers receive the highest quality solutions.

• Travel to customer sites across Switzerland and occasionally internationally, as required by project needs.

What we will look for in your CV:

• Proven experience working with IFS Applications and/or IFS Cloud within a Manufacturing Consultant, Functional Consultant, Business Consultant, or similar role.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production planning, shop floor execution, bills of materials (BOM), routings, capacity planning, and supply chain integration.

• Experience delivering ERP implementation, transformation, or optimization projects.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical system solutions.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience facilitating customer workshops and presenting solutions.

• Fluent German and English language skills, with the ability to work confidently in customer-facing environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive and collaborative approach.

• Experience working within consulting environments is highly desirable.

• Relevant IFS certifications would be advantageous but are not essential.

• A passion for digital transformation and helping clients achieve business value through technology.
