Lead - Marketplaces Marketing

One of the fastest-growing premium sportswear brands is looking for a  Lead Marketplaces Marketing (for a 12 – 14 month contract) to shape and drive our digital marketplace marketing strategy across EMEA. In this strategic role, you will own the marketing vision, investment strategy and execution for Zalando and an expanding portfolio of online marketplace partners. Being part of our Marketplace Team, you will be working at the intersection of Brand, Performance Marketing, Commercial and Creative teams to define how On shows up across key digital retail partners, building integrated marketing programs that accelerate brand equity, consumer engagement and commercial growth.

Your mission: 

• Own the marketplace marketing strategy across the strategic marketplace partners in EMEA, ensuring alignment with On’s commercial objectives and premium brand positioning
• Define and execute campaign strategies for branding and performance activities, spanning display media and sponsored product campaigns, influencer and event partnerships
• Own the consumer’s onsite experience by managing elevated brand content, e.g. Brand Homes and co-creation campaigns
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Brand Marketing, Performance Marketing, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Product, Creative, and regional teams to deliver best-in-class consumer experiences, driving topline sales growth and consistency across channels
• Define measurement frameworks, marketing KPIs, and performance reporting, translating insights into strategic recommendations that maximize marketing effectiveness and business growth.
• Lead marketing alignment meetings with our partners’ key stakeholders to ensure close collaboration and a shared understanding of the brand vision and strategy.
• Shape the future of retail marketing for On by scaling successful initiatives, improving ways of working and identifying innovative opportunities across the evolving retail media landscape

Your story: 

• You have +6 years of experience in a similar digital marketing role, e-commerce, or retail media environment, ideally within the fashion or sports industry
• You have a proven track record of developing and leading integrated marketing strategies that drive both brand equity and commercial growth
• You have exceptional stakeholder management skills and experience working with senior cross-functional teams and external partners.
• You thrive in a dynamic and complex environment with the ability to work autonomously and embrace learning opportunities
• You are self-motivated and determined to deliver assigned targets in a fast-changing setup
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Meet the team 
The DTC Team brings together a large and diverse group of planners, engineers, designers, data scientists and digital marketing specialists. The team is responsible for distributing On’s products directly to our final customer, creating winning digital solutions and tailoring campaigns that run the length of the purchase funnel. Within this team the Marketplace Function specifically leads all business relationships and day-to-day trading with marketplaces partners e.g. Zalando. The shared goal? Efficient global growth at high speed.
