This role offers significant visibility within the IT organisation and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership to shape the future of quality and testing practices at enterprise level. /p h3Job Description /h3 pReporting to senior IT leadership, the IT Test Governance Leader will be responsible for establishing and evolving the organisation's quality governance model across a complex international environment. Key responsibilities include: /p ul liDefining and communicating a long-term vision for quality assurance and testing governance across the organisation. /li liBuilding alignment among senior stakeholders, including VPs, product leaders and executive management. /li liActing as a trusted advisor to technology leadership on quality-related risks, priorities and strategic initiatives. /li liDriving the adoption of testing standards, governance processes and enterprise-wide quality practices. /li liLeading governance forums and influencing decision-making at senior management level. /li liEstablishing meaningful quality metrics and ensuring consistent reporting across teams. /li liSupporting the continuous evolution of testing methodologies, tooling and best practices. /li liCreating greater consistency across teams operating in different regions, delivery models and technology domains. /li liSupporting onboarding, adoption and change-management initiatives related to quality governance. /li liCoaching and mentoring Test Managers, QA Leads and governance contributors across the organisation. /li liProviding direction on quality strategy while maintaining sufficient technical credibility to challenge, guide and support testing teams. /li liWorking closely with key stakeholders during the first phase of the role to consolidate existing governance practices, strengthen relationships and define the next stage of the testing maturity roadmap. /li /ul h3The Successful Applicant /h3 ul li15+ years of experience within software testing, quality assurance or quality governance environments. /li liSignificant experience influencing senior stakeholders within large and complex technology organisations. /li liProven ability to operate at executive level and effectively engage with Managers, Directors and CIO-level stakeholders. /li liStrong leadership skills with the ability to drive change through influence rather than formal authority. /li liDeep understanding of testing strategies, quality frameworks, governance models and testing best practices. /li liPrevious hands-on experience in testing or quality assurance roles, providing strong practical credibility with technical teams. /li liGood understanding of modern testing technologies, automation approaches and software delivery practices. /li liExperience building standards, governance frameworks and quality operating models across multiple teams and locations. /li liExcellent communication, facilitation and negotiation skills. /li liDemonstrated success working in multicultural and geographically distributed environments. /li liAbility to federate teams, overcome resistance and build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups. /li liStrong strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic and delivery-oriented approach. /li liExperience with ITIL, governance frameworks or enterprise operating models would be considered an advantage. /li /ul h3What's on Offer /h3 ul liA highly visible role with significant exposure to senior IT leadership and executive stakeholders. /li liThe opportunity to shape and influence quality governance at enterprise scale. /li liA strategic position with impact across multiple countries, business units and technology domains. /li liThe chance to lead a large international testing community through influence and thought leadership. /li liA unique role combining governance, strategy, change management and quality transformation. /li liExposure to large-scale technology programmes and mission-critical business systems. /li liA collaborative international environment with strong long-term growth opportunities. /li liInternational exposure and occasional travel. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
