Senior Director Medical Affairs, Global Managed Access Programs, Strategy & Operations

Neurocrine Biosciences seeks a Senior Director to lead global Managed Access Programs strategy and operations, overseeing the development and execution of pathways that enable patient access to medicines in countries without traditional commercial availability. The role requires cross-functional leadership spanning medical, regulatory, commercial, supply chain and compliance functions to design scalable, compliant access programs across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead global Managed Access Programs strategy and operating model aligned with asset and lifecycle strategies
• Establish scalable processes, governance and operational capabilities for managed access across commercial and development-stage assets
• Lead country and regional prioritization and feasibility assessments considering unmet need, regulatory pathways and supply requirements
• Design and operationalize end-to-end Managed Access Programs with clear implementation plans, decision points and escalation pathways
• Partner with regulatory affairs and technical operations to navigate access requirements and ensure supply feasibility and reliable distribution

Requirements

• Deep expertise in regulatory, operational and supply considerations for medicines distributed outside traditional commercial channels
• Strategic thinking combined with strong operational and leadership capabilities
• Ability to navigate matrixed, time-sensitive situations involving patient need, regulatory requirements and asset strategy
• Cross-functional partnership experience with medical affairs, regulatory, commercial and supply chain functions
• Knowledge of country-specific requirements for unlicensed or investigational medicine access and importation
• Experience with lifecycle management and launch planning integration
