Job Description

Your responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong technical and application expertise for assigned Anton Paar product lines and technologies, providing high-level application support, solution recommendations and technical consultation to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support our Field Sales organization in qualified sales opportunities through customer consultations, sample measurements, feasibility studies, method development and instrument demonstrations.
• Translate technical results and application expertise into clear customer benefits and suitable Anton Paar solutions.
• Take ownership of the systematic development of a defined strategic market or industry segment, actively strengthening Anton Paar's presence, relevance and recognition within the market.
• Build comprehensive knowledge of relevant industries, applications, market trends, technologies, regulatory developments and measurement challenges to identify new application and business potential.
• Identify and map relevant companies, universities, research institutes, laboratories, industry partners and key stakeholders, while developing and maintaining a strong network of customers, prospects and industry contacts.
• Increase awareness and penetration of the Anton Paar portfolio within the defined market by connecting customer applications and challenges with relevant Anton Paar technologies and systematically identifying cross-selling and portfolio development opportunities.
• Initiate, organize and participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, exhibitions and other market development activities to strengthen Anton Paar's visibility and positioning as an application and solution partner.
• Work closely with Field Sales, Marketing, Service and Anton Paar's Product Competence Centers/HQ to define priorities, coordinate market development activities and campaigns, and support the generation and development of strategic sales opportunities.
• Generate and qualify new leads and opportunities and support their structured development together with Field Sales.

Qualifications

Your profile

• Completed technical education at university or university of applied sciences level, combined with a strong commercial mindset.
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in material characterization and instrumentation, e.g. rheology, particle characterization and/or spectroscopy.
• Previous experience in sales or another customer-facing role is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and confident approach when interacting with customers.
• Enthusiasm for combining technical and application expertise with commercial and market development activities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, independent and structured working style, and a high level of initiative and commitment.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits approximately 1-2 days per week.
• Residence in French-speaking Switzerland (Romandie).
• Fluent in French and English; German is an advantage.
• Positive and engaging personality with a strong team spirit and enthusiasm for working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
