Enabling global flight, with passion. /p h3Position Summary /h3 pAs a core part of Jet Aviation’s talent strategy, the Jet Aviation Academy will strengthen the consistency, visibility, and quality of learning across the organization. Working with business functions and subject‑matter experts, the Academy will ensure that training reflects business priorities, operational realities, and regulatory requirements. /p pJet Aviation is seeking a Senior Manager Training to lead Academy delivery across EMEA based in Basel at the Euro‑Airport. You will help establish an important capability from the ground up by connecting existing training expertise and making learning easier to access, deliver, measure, and improve. /p pIn this role, you will translate business and regulatory needs into a focused regional training program while connecting global standards with regional requirements. This position is ideal for an experienced learning and development professional who combines great leadership with practical execution and is comfortable working across functions, cultures, and locations. /p h3Your Role /h3 ul liDrive regional training delivery: Build and manage the annual training plan and calendar in partnership with business leaders, HR, Training Program Owners, and regional leadership. Identify opportunities for shared cohorts, reusable learning assets, common vendors, and more efficient delivery models. /li liDrive learning and delivery excellence: Co-design learning solutions with subject‑matter experts who own the curriculum and learning objectives. Apply adult-learning and instructional‑design principles, and ensure consistent delivery quality across employees, internal trainers, dotted‑line resources, and external vendors. /li liEnsure compliance and audit readiness: Maintain sufficient qualified trainer capacity, monitor certification currency, and ensure that required training records and supporting evidence are complete, accurate, and audit-ready. /li liLead the regional Academy community: Manage the local team. Build an engaged and connected community of trainers (direct, dotted line or external reporting) through shared standards, development opportunities, and regular collaboration. /li liManage budgets, vendors, and data: Consolidate regional training activity, budgets, attendance, qualifications, and costs into a reliable view. Coordinate the regional vendor panel in partnership with Supply Chain Management and maintain accurate information in the learning platform. /li liUse technology and data to improve outcomes: Ensure right use of the learning platform, contribute to improvements in learning technology and data standards, and use training data to evaluate effectiveness or opportunities for improvement. /li liDeliver leadership development: Facilitate regional leadership modules delivery and support high‑impact leadership workshops as required. /li liBuild strong partnerships: Act as the face of the Academy in your region, encouraging adoption through trust, clarity, and influence rather than formal authority. /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 pYou are an experienced learning and development professional with regional or international experience, ideally gained in a regulated industry or a complex, multi‑site organization. You combine great stakeholder engagement with strong operational follow‑through and understand that effective training must work for both the people delivering it and the employees experiencing it. /p h3You bring: /h3 ul liProven experience leading through matrix structures, dotted‑line relationships, internal trainer networks, and external vendors /li liStrong expertise in adult learning, instructional design, facilitation, and training evaluationExperience developing and managing multi‑site or regional training plans and calendars /li liFluency with learning technology, training data, budgets, and vendor management /li liExperience maintaining training records, qualification data, and evidence in support of compliance and audit readiness /li liExcellent communication, presentation, organizational, project‑management, and stakeholder‑partnership skills, with an elevated emotional professionalism /li liThe ability to influence without formal authority and build alignment across functions, cultures, and locations /li liStrong business judgment, with the ability to balance global standards, regional requirements, operational realities, and available resources /li liFluency in English any other language is a plus /li liA willingness to travel within the region and occasionally globally /li /ul pYou are influential, pragmatic, quality‑focused, and commercially minded. You build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, use data to improve training effectiveness, and communicate openly about priorities, progress, and challenges.
