Group Finance Director

Our client is a globally recognized industrial technology company headquartered in Switzerland and a market leader within its field. With an international footprint spanning production sites, sales organizations, and service operations across multiple continents, the company is known for its innovation, high-quality standards, and long-term sustainable growth.

To strengthen the global finance function, we are seeking an experienced and hands-on Group Finance Director to take ownership of group reporting, consolidation, treasury activities, and financial governance at an international level.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER
• Coordinate group and statutory audits and act as the primary contact for external auditors
• Drive the continuous improvement of group-wide accounting policies, processes, and reporting standards
• Take ownership of consolidation and reporting systems, ensuring efficiency and data quality across the group
• Provide professional guidance and support to international finance teams, promoting consistent accounting practices globally
• Oversee the Group Internal Control System (ICS) and ensure compliance with governance requirements
• Manage group treasury activities, including liquidity planning, cash management, and financial risk monitoring
• Maintain banking relationships and support financing and refinancing activities
• Partner with senior leadership on financial reporting, governance, and strategic finance initiatives

Your Profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration , or a related field
• Qualified Swiss CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification
• Several years of experience in Group Accounting, Consolidation, and Financial Reporting
• Strong knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER
• Experience coordinating audits within an international environment
• Treasury exposure, including liquidity management and banking relationships, is highly advantageous
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and support international stakeholders
• Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent in German and English
