About the Role:
We’re hiring a hands-on Senior Designer & Team Lead who will personally produce high-performing static and motion ads for paid digital campaigns every week, while also mentoring and developing a small remote creative team of 3-4 designers. This role is both a working creative seat and a leadership seat: you’ll build the templates, best practices, and workflows the team runs on, stay close to real performance data, and help define how creative gets made at a growing agency. A genuine passion for tabletop games and gaming culture is a major plus.

This role is a Full-Time remote position.

We are looking for a Senior Designer & Team Lead specifically with these requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to personally produce high-performing static and simple motion ads for paid digital campaigns, with speed and consistency.
• Strong portfolio of direct-response ad creative, ideally showing work built from client-provided assets (performance ads matter more than brand campaigns).
• Experience developing creative that drives performance metrics such as CTR, ROAS, conversions, and customer acquisition.
• Experience mentoring or managing designers in a remote setting, giving effective creative feedback, and improving team processes.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and related design tools, with an efficient, template-smart workflow.
• Highly self-directed, with strong communication and organizational skills and the confidence to own your workload in a fully remote environment.
• Strong English speaking and writing skills.

Nice to Haves:

• A genuine personal interest in tabletop gaming. 
• Familiarity with gaming culture more broadly, including Kickstarter launches, conventions, and the communities around them.
• Experience designing for niche or enthusiast audiences.
• Creative writing abilities to take general concepts and add compelling copy

Your responsibility will include (but not limited to):

• Personally design and produce static and simple motion ad-creative for paid social and digital platforms, working from account manager briefs and client-provided assets (our account managers own both the brief and the ad copy, so you can focus entirely on visual craft and execution).
• Deliver work reliably on quick timelines that support ongoing creative testing and iteration.
• Develop and document creative best practices, design standards, templates, and workflows that make the whole team faster and more consistent.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small remote creative team of 3-4 designers: assign work, balance bandwidth, give constructive design feedback, and support each designer’s professional growth.
• Review team deliverables for quality, brand alignment, and performance potential.
• Collaborate closely with account management, media buying, and leadership to keep creative aligned with campaign goals and performance objectives.
• Communicate proactively with leadership regarding project status, resourcing needs, risks, and opportunities.
• Stay current on paid social creative best practices, platform requirements, and trends within gaming and tabletop communities.
