Event Coordinator

Your PurposeAs a Ship’s Event Coordinator, you will be the creative force behind unforgettable experiences at sea. From intimate gatherings to large-scale productions, you will curate, organize, and execute engaging events that enhance the guest experience. Your Journey So FarYou have a proven background in event coordination, preferably within the cruise, hospitality, or entertainment industry. Your experience and skills include: 

Event Planning Expertise – Hands-on experience in planning and executing events of various scales, from concept development to final execution. 

Logistics Management – Ability to oversee event logistics, including scheduling, equipment coordination, and venue setup. 

Team Coordination – Experience working with cross-functional teams, including entertainment staff, catering, and technical crews. 

Adaptability & Problem-Solving – Strong ability to think on your feet, handle last-minute changes, and ensure seamless event execution. 

Guest Engagement – A passion for creating engaging and memorable experiences for international guests. 

Multitasking & Organization – Exceptional time management skills to juggle multiple events and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. 

Your EssentialsThe following qualifications are essential for success in this role: 

proven experience in event planning, hospitality, or entertainment. 

A degree or certification in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred. 

Fluency in English and at least one other European language. 

Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. 

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute changes. 

Experience working in a multicultural team and engaging with international guests. 

Willingness to live and work onboard a cruise ship for extended contract periods.
