We are looking for a specialist in Master Data Management to join Vontobel's Transaction Banking.

​What would your role be?

• This position is part of the team responsible for purchasing, checking and distributing master data.
• The Master Data Management team provides Vontobel with up-to-date and correct master and reference data, regulatory information, prices and rating data.
• The aim of Master Data Management is to support the processes along the value chain by providing data of the highest quality and the right depth.
• We are in constant exchange with our internal and external customers, peers, providers and service facilitators.
• New requirements and optimizations are developed in close cooperation with Vontobel IT.
• The spectrum of what our team does is very broad and has a high complexity due to the various target systems and rulesets.
• This position offers the unique opportunity to work independently in a small team and to implement optimizations with bank-wide implications. The work in projects on a daily basis is just as much a part of it.

What are we looking for?

• Banking degree with several years of professional experience.
• Exceptional problem solving willingness and skills.
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets and reference data.
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working effectively with data providers and vendors.
• Experience of Avaloq and GAIN as a plus.
• Independent, efficient, exact, focused and careful working method with an overview of the big picture.
• Strong customer focus and service orientation with experience working on projects and optimization.
• Openness for working with divers teams and different topics.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in both, German and English.
