Senior Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end systems for promotional campaigns, payment processing, and revenue-related operations.
• Develop scalable backend services and customer-facing or internal applications.
• Drive technical design and architecture decisions focused on scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Business Operations to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Improve observability, resilience, and operational excellence across revenue-critical services.
• Lead projects from discovery and technical planning through implementation, rollout, and post-launch optimization.
• Contribute through coding, code reviews, testing, documentation, tooling, automation, and operational ownership.
• Mentor engineers and support knowledge sharing and engineering culture.
• Participate in the on-call rotation supporting 24/7 business operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building and maintaining production-grade backend systems in complex or high-growth environments.
• Hands-on experience developing modern frontend applications, ideally with React and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java, TypeScript, and SQL databases.
• Experience with distributed systems, service-oriented architectures, and event-driven systems.
• Ability to deliver end-to-end solutions from requirements and design through implementation and production support.
• Strong understanding of reliability, scalability, observability, and performance best practices.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and drive execution in cross-functional environments.
• Strong English communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering culture.
• Experience in eCommerce, marketplaces, fintech, transaction-heavy environments, promotions, pricing, incentives, payments, or revenue domains is preferred.
• Familiarity with orchestration and long-running workflow patterns, including Temporal, is preferred.
• Experience with GraphQL and modern frontend architecture patterns is preferred.
