Regional Medical Lead, Nephrology

Biogen seeks a Regional Medical Lead for Nephrology to develop and execute regional medical strategy across the nephrology portfolio, bridging global corporate priorities with affiliate needs. The role involves clinical development oversight, evidence generation, launch readiness, and stakeholder engagement across multiple markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional medical strategy aligned with global priorities and evolving standards of care
- Provide medical input to clinical development, evidence generation, and launch readiness activities
- Lead advisory boards, medical education, and scientific communication initiatives across the region
- Partner with affiliates and cross-functional teams to identify evidence gaps and optimize patient outcomes
- Build relationships with medical experts, healthcare organizations, and scientific societies to inform strategy
Requirements
- MD, PhD, or PharmD degree required
- Minimum 10 years pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience
- Strong nephrology expertise and clinical landscape knowledge
- Experience working across affiliate and regional/global market levels
- Proven medical affairs strategy execution across product lifecycle stages
- Demonstrated ability to influence matrix organizations and external stakeholders
- Excellent scientific communication and strategic thinking skills
