Global Human Resources Director

ppBata is looking for a Global HR Director to lead an integrated HR mandate across three key pillars: /pollibGlobal HR Business Partnering /b /lilibHR Operations for our Swiss Headquarters /b /lilibGlobal Compensation Benefits /b /li /olpReporting directly to the Chief Human Capital Officer, the Global HR Director will personally lead the HR Business Partnering agenda for assigned global functions, supporting approximately 100 employees across more than 30 countries. /ppThe role will also manage two dedicated resources: /pulliOne responsible for the day-to-day HR operations of our Swiss Headquarters /liliOne responsible for the operational delivery of Global Compensation Benefits /li /ulpThe Global HR Director will retain overall accountability for the strategy, governance, quality and effectiveness of all three pillars. /ph3bKey responsibilities /b /h3h3bGlobal HR Business Partnering /b /h3ulliAct as a strategic HR partner and trusted adviser to global functional leaders. /liliLead workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning, performance management and organisational development. /liliAdvise leaders on organisation design, employee relations, engagement, retention and team effectiveness. /liliLead recruitment for global and senior functional positions. /liliManage international mobility, promotions, transfers, onboarding and offboarding for the assigned functions. /liliPartner with Regional and Country HR teams to ensure effective delivery across markets. /li /ulh3bHR Operations – Swiss Headquarters /b /h3ulliLead and develop the dedicated HQ HR Operations resource. /liliOversee the complete employee lifecycle for approximately 55 employees. /liliEnsure compliant and effective payroll, HR administration, employee-insurance and HR policy processes. /liliMaintain compliance with Swiss employment law and social security requirements. /liliOversee the HR budget, personnel-cost planning and external HR providers. /liliDrive continuous improvement, simplification and automation of HR processes. /li /ulh3bGlobal Compensation Benefits /b /h3ulliLead and develop the dedicated Global CB resource. /liliOwn the global compensation and benefits strategy, policies and governance framework. /liliLead salary-review, job-grading, benchmarking and incentive processes. /liliAdvise senior leaders on compensation, promotions, retention proposals and complex pay decisions. /liliOversee the design and governance of global benefit programmes. /liliEnsure effective collaboration with Regional and Country HR teams, Finance, Legal, Payroll and external advisers. /li /ulh3bYour profile /b /h3ulliAt least 10 years of progressive HR experience within an international, matrixed organisation. /liliStrong HR Business Partnering experience supporting senior and global functional leaders. /liliProven experience managing HR professionals or specialist resources. /liliSolid knowledge of Swiss employment law, payroll and social security. /liliStrong understanding of compensation and benefits, including job grading, salary reviews, benchmarking and incentive plans. /liliExcellent stakeholder-management, influencing and communication skills. /liliFluent in English and French. /liliUniversity degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. /li /ulpThis is an opportunity to take on a broad and visible global HR leadership role, combining strategic business partnering with responsibility for two critical HR centres of expertise. /ph3bWhy Join Bata? /b /h3pBe part of a global company with a legacy of over 125 years, serving over 1 million consumers a day in 5,300 stores worldwide.
