SST Reporting Analyst - Graduate

About the Role

As a Swiss Solvency Test Reporting Analyst in the Graduate programme, you will develop a broad understanding of financial reporting under the Swiss Solvency Test (SST), the most important regulatory reporting and solvency framework for Swiss Re, while contributing across the financial reporting and performance management value chain.

Working alongside experienced professionals across multiple functions, you will gain broad understanding of Swiss Re's financial reporting process and disclosures, SST calculation as well as related regulatory requirements. You will contribute to analytical and operational tasks that ensure timely and high-quality external and internal reporting of Swiss Re's SST position.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to the preparation and calculation of Swiss Re’s available capital and its expected change under SST for Swiss-domiciled legal entities and the Group.
• Support the production of the annual SST report submitted to FINMA, as well as the Financial Condition Report reported externally.
• Collaborate closely with teams across Finance, Asset Management, Treasury, Finance IT, and Risk Management.
• Analyze key drivers and prepare insights for Finance stakeholders and business partners
• Execute consistency checks and ensure completeness of controls.
• Oversee the reconciliation of IFRS and SST balance sheets
• Look for opportunities to standardize and automate reporting processes
• Contribute to finance-related projects that strengthen operational efficiency, controls, and business resilience
• Support the team in maintenance and development of financial codes for underlying calculations

About the Team

You will be part of the Financial Assumptions & SST Reporting team within Group Finance, a collaborative group of professionals based in Bratislava and Zurich.

Our team is responsible for the preparation of the SST available capital as well as the expected change in risk-bearing capital information. Our team values openness, collaboration, and diversity, and we are committed to delivering high-quality financial information. In addition to regular reporting, we support SST policy work, transaction reviews, deliver internal training, and contribute to strategic projects.

About You

We are looking for people who:

• Have completed, or are about to complete, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics in Corporate Finance, or a related field.
• High numerical aptitude, integrity, and adaptability.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and a holistic financial mindset.
• Enjoy working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment and demonstrate commitment to delivering high-quality results under time pressure.
• Communicate clearly and confidently, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences
• Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and programming skills (e.g., Python) and are excited to explore emerging technologies, including AI-enabled applications.
• Are proactive, self-motivated, and show eagerness to learn new skills and technologies.

The base salary range for this position will be shared with you during the interview process.
