Junior Underwriter - Non-Life (Specialty Risks)

We are supporting a well-established and internationally active insurance player with a strong reputation in specialty lines. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their underwriting team with a Junior Underwriter.

This position offers exposure to complex and niche risk segments, within a collaborative and technically strong environment. You will work closely with experienced underwriters and contribute to the development of the portfolio across multiple markets.

• Support underwriting activities across a defined portfolio of non-life risks
• Assist in risk assessment, pricing and policy structuring
• Analyse data and contribute to underwriting decisions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (actuarial, claims, finance)
• Monitor portfolio performance and support reporting activities
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of underwriting tools and processes

• 2–4 years' experience in insurance, reinsurance or financial services
• Exposure to underwriting, actuarial, or analytical functions is a strong plus
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Interest in specialty / technical lines
• Ability to work in an international and fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English & Good command of German (additional languages are a plus)
